Looking for a Place to Cheat on My Wife

Isn’t that just the worst title for a blog entry? You really have to be wondering where I’m going with this one. Well, to make it brief, I was browsing Craigslist for apartments and sublets. I’m trying to get closer to the city of Boston, but that’s beside the point. Nonetheless, I started looking at wanted ads for people looking for sublets and long term rental agreements. I came across an ad for someone that was looking for a place to creep/cheat/slide on their significant other. Please see the ad as posted on Craigslist below…

looking for a discreet love nest to use a few times a month. Do you have an in-law apt, and apt for out of town associates, a summer cottage no longer in use, or perhaps you need someone to “housesit” and water the plants while are in your florida home for the fall/winter.

People are amazing. You can find any and everything on Craigslist. I’m really curious what type of person will let someone skeet up the sheets in their apartment for a small fee. I’ve heard of rough times, but I don’t think I’d ever be that desperate to where I’d let someone use my apartment as a slide spot. Dude/Chick is better off just taking his mistress/mail man to a cheap motel. I feel bad if the spouse is a dude. This gives a whole new meaning to eating leftovers…

I just meant some people will see that comment and want to throw daggers at you for condoning such activity. I’m not mad. I’m just happy to get new comments. I’d be curious to see what others have to say on this though. May the dialogue begin.

I’m just saying if a person is going to have other sexual partners, it is important to be cautious and rate the risk. I developed an affair risk rating system just for that. I say, Cover your Assets!

The energy one would expend “covering his/her assets” can just as easily be used “recovering” the marriage–or ending it, if it’s come to that. There’s a reason the desire to cheat exists. Perhaps the basis of that desire should be explored first? Just my take on it…

There is no reason to either recover or end the marriage just because of an additional sexual partner. The desire to have other partners exists because it is fun.

“Just because of an additional sex partner”? The need for one in the first place is generally indicative of issues with the first partner aka the wife or husband…sounds like cheating shadiness to me!

It is monogamy that is unnatural for men. Wanting other women is perfectly natural. Seems simple to me.

So they are openly commiting adultery but its not okay to do it in the family home. All of a sudden morals and conditions are applied. I call bullsh*T!
